I sat at my desk, drawing in my most precious valuable, my sketchbook, while everyone is just chatting their lives away. But I didn’t care, I had my drawings with me.

Sure I have good and decent grades but I’m always stuck in my own little world, whenever I draw in my sketchbook. I draw all kinds, like anime or manga, and other fantasy art.

But now I am drawing my own knight in shining armor, riding a beautiful white stallion. That’s right. The one and only…..Alfred F Jones, one of the most popular guys in school and Captain of the Football team. Sure I had a crush on the guy but we’re too different. He’s popular and I’m not, because he shines above the crowd, while I stood out. Just a random face out in the crowd.

My drawing moment was interrupted when I felt a hand come onto my shoulder. I looked up to see the bad touch trio, looking at me with small smirks on their faces.

“Hello frau, still drawing pictures again,” He asked, as I held my sketchbook to my chest.

“Oui the little artist is at it again,” Francis said.

I blushed a bit as I looked down at the drawing I was doing, and then back at the trio.

“Can you draw a picture of me, __________,” Antonio asked.

“Yeah, make me an awesome picture,” Prussia added.

“I would look good in a beautiful picture, if you draw moi,” Francis said, agreeing with his friends.

I opened my mouth to say something when we heard…

“Hey dudes leave her alone,”

I looked up to see Alfred F. Jones, walking in the classroom, giving the trio a glare.

“Sorry, Alfred,” Gilbert said, putting his hands up in defense.

“We’re just watching ________ draw some pretty awesome stuff,”

“Si, you should see her,” Antonio added.

“she’s really good,”

“But you guys haven’t seen it,” I replied.

“Oui we have,” Francis intervened.

“We always watch you draw in class, even at lunch,”

“Please leave me alone,” I said, as I held my head down in embarrassment, looking down on my sketchbook drawing.

“I can’t even concentrate with all of you bickering,”

“You heard the dudette, dudes,” Alfred said.

They backed away, and left me alone except Alfred who stared at me for a bit then looked down at my sketchbook. I blushed and looked away quickly as I got back to finishing my drawing.

By the time end of the school day and class period came, I packed everything in book bag, and walked out the classroom, carrying my sketchbook with me.  

Today is Friday, so I decided to take a walk in the park and draw everything I imagined and see. I arrived at the park and placed my spot on a small hill. I smiled in pleasure as I looked at the peaceful scenery around me.

“So beautiful around here,” I thought, as I began grabbing a few pencils from my pencil pouch and began drawing.

I looked up at the sky, and saw the bright sun, shining down on me alone with a bunch of fluffy white clouds. I drawing clouds, adding angels, and alicorns in the process. I began imagining another world, where angels are riding alicorns, throughout the bright skies. I giggled in delight as I drew.

“Hey,____________,” I heard someone call, snapping me out of my fantasy trance.

I turned to see Alfred walking towards me.

“Alfred, what are you doing here,” I asked, looking surprised.

“Well, I just want to make sure if you were okay,” He replied, taking a seat beside me.

“Im okay,” I said.

“Im not crying right now,”

“true but it looks like you’re hiding something,” Alfred said, looking concerned.

“What do you mean?”

“whenever I see you look down at your sketchbook, you don’t show everyone,” He answered.

“Why is that,”

I looked away from him shyly.

“Its…..because…..well…everyone will see me as a weirdo, who likes to daydream and draw,”I replied.

“That’s probably why I don’t let anyone see my sketchbook,”

“Well, can you at least show me,” Alfred asked, giving his puppy dog eyes.

I sighed reluctantly as I handed him my sketchbook.

“Okay but Promise me, you wont make fun of me, or think of me as weird,” I pleaded.

“I promise, its not like they’re bad or something,” He said, before I send him a glare.

“Sorry!”

He opened my sketchbook and began looking through my sketchbook. I watched him, admire my drawings, as he flipped through each page. My eyes began to widen in shock when he came a stop to one of my pages.

“Oh no!” I thought, as my face turned red like a tomato.

“Hey, I look………..awesome,” He yelled, happily.

“What?” I asked with confusion.

“You’re not mad,”

“dude,_______,” How can I be mad when I look awesome,”

I looked down in embarrassment, as Alfred looked down at me.

“I drew that because I love you,” I shouted out loudly, making him look shock.

“But, you wouldn’t like or love me because of our differences,” I replied.

“I mean you’re popular and I’m not, We’re……….”

Just then, Alfred gently grabbed ahold of my chin and places his lips against mine. My eyes widened in shock as he kissed me and then pulled back.

“It doesn’t matter that we’re different,” He said.

“Cause I feel the same way about you,”

My heart began pounding rapidly, as he took his hand in my own.

“__________, Will you be my girlfriend,” He asked, looking at me for an answer.

“Yes, I will be your girlfriend,” I answered, glomping him.

“Only if you be my hero,”

Alfred smiled, widely at me.

“Only if you be my princess,” He replied, kissing me in the process, while an elderly couple nearby gaped at us.

Now I’m not out of my shell, and more open minded to everyone.
