I had gone out to watch the cherry blossom tree, for spring is one of my favorite seasons. I enjoyed lying underneath its branches and watch the tiny little petals fall to the ground.

I breathed softly, syncing with Mother Nature, as I laid against the trunk and fell asleep, snoring softly.

“So beautiful,” I thought as I continued to nap peacefully.

I felt a petal fall on my nose, which caused me to sneeze so soft but very loudly .

“Excuse me but are you alright,” I heard someone ask.

I opened my eyes lightly, to see a girl with beautiful brown hair, looking at me with concern.

“He…He..Hello,” I said, shyly.

“Hello there,” She replied, cheerfully.

I looked at her with confusion and curiosity. I was actually surprised of how she didn’t freak out when she saw my ears or what’s even worse is calling me a freak.

“What’s your name,” She asked, snapping me out of my confused thoughts.

“My name is (Male/name),” I said, as my cheeks blushed a dark red.

“I’m Bella,” She replied as she smiling kindly at me.

“May I ask what are you doing lying down on the tree before you,”

“Oh I’m lying down underneath this tree because it feels relaxing and relieves stress,” I answered, sheepishly.

“Whenever, I feel alone or sad,”

“Why is that,”  She asked with concern, as she kneeled down to my eye level.

“I have no friends, no family,” I said, getting to close to tears.

“I’m an outkast, a nobody, a freak,”

Bella gasped and looked at me with pity. She then surprisingly placed her warm hand over my moist cheek.

“I don’t think you’re a freak,” She said.

I hugged her closer to me as I began sniffling.

“W….Will you be there for me,” He asked, with tears rolling down his cheeks.

“Of course, Ill be there for you,” She cooed, holding me closer to her chest.

“Really?!?!”I asked with surprise and shocks, making my cat ears perk up in excitement.

“Always,” She answered, giving me a kiss on the cheek.

I felt my heart melt at her response as she held me closer to her like a lost and frail child. She smiled warmly as I laid my head on her shoulder, wanting some more of her motherly affection, I haven’t had in a really long time. I felt her fingers running through my(Hair/color) and then over my cat ears, which I really liked.

“How would you like to come over for some Belgium waffles,” She suggested as she helped me off my feet.

“Sure, okay,” I answered as my cheeks became a bright pink color.

And from that day forward, I have finally found a friend that will never leave my side and will accept me for who I am.
